What is the LetX Researcher & Builder Access Program?
It is a limited program that gives approved applicants 30 days of LetX Pro for free — no credit card. You tell us about your work, our team reviews every application, and approved users get unlimited compiles, full version history, priority compiles and GitHub import/export.
Who can apply?
Researchers, students, job-seekers, engineers and educators. LetX serves academic writing, theses, papers, CVs/résumés and technical documents, so the program is open across professions — not just universities.
How long does approval take and how will I know?
Every application is reviewed by our team in batches. You will receive an email at the address you provide as soon as a decision is made; you can also check your status on this page.
When does the program close?
Applications close August 16, 2026. Approved members keep their full 30-day Pro window even if it extends past that date.
What happens when my free Pro period ends?
Your account moves to the free plan, which is genuinely generous (unlimited collaborators, 40 compiles a day, your last 15 versions). You can upgrade to Pro any time to keep unlimited compiles, full history and AI features.
Do I need a credit card to apply?
No. The program is completely free and requires no payment details. Instead of payment, we ask for a few real things: a one-line testimonial (with your permission to feature it), your LinkedIn profile, and a quick share of LetX on X or LinkedIn.
Do work or .edu emails get priority?
Yes. Applications from a work or academic (.edu / .ac) email are reviewed first, because they are easiest for us to verify. Any email still works, and every application is reviewed.
Why do you ask for a testimonial, LinkedIn and a share?
Since the program is free with no credit card, these are how you give back: a short testimonial we can feature (with your consent), your LinkedIn so we can verify you and stay in touch, and a public share that helps other researchers discover LetX. All are part of the application.
