How do I create a new project?
Click the '+ New Project' button in the sidebar, enter a name and optional description, then click Create.
How do I share a project with collaborators?
Open your project, click the Share button in the top header, and enter the email addresses of your collaborators.
How do I compile my LaTeX document?
Click the Compile button in the editor toolbar or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Enter (Cmd+Enter on Mac).
Can I import existing LaTeX projects?
Yes! Use the '+ New Project' dropdown and select 'Upload ZIP' to import an existing project.
How do I download my compiled PDF?
After compiling, click the download icon in the preview panel to download your PDF.
What is Lexi, and what can I ask it?
Lexi is the AI assistant built into the editor. It reads your project, proposes each change as a diff, compiles it to check it builds, and applies it where you are working. Ask in plain words, or type / in the Lexi panel to see every command it has. There is a full guide at /learn/latex-ai-assistant/.
Can I use LetX from Claude or ChatGPT?
Yes. LetX runs an MCP connector, so an assistant that supports MCP can open your projects, read and write files, and compile them. You approve the connection once and can revoke it at any time from your settings.
Do students get a discount?
Students, faculty and university staff pay half price. Verification is by document, a current transcript or a student or staff ID card, and approval lasts a year. Apply at /students/.
