Where do I download the IEEE conference LaTeX template?
You do not have to download anything to start. Open the IEEE conference template here and it becomes an editable project that compiles in the browser with IEEEtran already installed. Download the finished PDF, or export the whole project as a .zip if the submission system wants the source.
Is this the current year's version of the format?
Venue templates are kept current, and the year is shown on the template page. Conferences do post their own style file each cycle, so if the call for papers links a specific .cls or .sty, upload it into the project. It overrides what is bundled and everything else carries on working.
Can I switch a paper from one venue to another?
Yes, and it is a common reason people arrive here after a rejection. Start a project from the new venue's template and move your content across. The section structure usually survives, and what changes is the preamble, the author block and the bibliography style.
